Here’s another example of How Government Really Works from the apologia for the birth control mandate in Obamacare written by the Dean of the UCI Law School in today’s OC Reg (http://www.ocregister.com/articles/religious-596523-coverage-insurance.html): Only a big govt monstrosity, in all its arrogance and coercion, could take an entity called “The Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged” and cast it as the villain. according to the logic of Obamacare, we’re all merely side effects of what should properly be regarded as a preventable medical condition.

I sat on a financial review committee back in the 1990’s and for the first time saw the putrid waste in the RAGWUS up close. When I asked the fire chief why his men were working 48hr shifts with built in overtime he said is was because they had to be ready for emergencies. I told his the police at the time were working 8hr shifts and were also handling emergency calls. His response was that they were mandated by the state to work these shifts. I never did delve into whether he was telling the truth or not because I was running a company at the time, I took him at his word, but the dirty taste I felt swimming in the same pool with all these bureaurats made it clear to me that government at the city level was as corrupt as anything I had ever seen. I knew back in the 1990’s that all management and PS workers were all overpaid and over benefited by a lot.

Hey Bob. If it sucked so much why didn’t you just quit and go do something else? Did the money and power override your principles? Why not donate the profits you generate from “Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary of War” and future speaking engagements to government watchdog organizations? Hmmm, Bob? lol.

And why didn’t Bob Gates tell us all this while he actively held high offices back in D.C.? He was silent, wasn’t he? He was complicit, wasn’t he? He was a good little spoke in the wheel even though he knew about the incredible damage that was being sustained by our nation. But now that he’s safely retired from government with a BIG FAT PENSION and there’s LOTS of money to be made IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR with the tell-all disclosures in his new book old Bob comes out of the closet! lol. Think of all those $50,000 speaking engagements he’ll get booked for now too! lol.

Bob’s no better than the rest of the scum. In fact, IMO, he’s worse.
