Speaking to the editors, when was the last time Ulysses did anything but call people names and make fun of them. Has he ever made an ‘argument’ on any subject. This site does seek a higher level of discourse, which I like. Which is what I’ll do now.
FDR, the God of the democrats, was against public unions for this very reason. For this reason, and his winning of WW2 in less than 4 years ( the greatest triumph over evil in the history of the world) makes him the greatest president since Lincoln.
The public unions are selfish to the point of criminality. The only option is to ban strikes. Sen Beal acknowledged something needs to be done. But what other option would work? Give them all the money they want and bankrupt the state? Oh, that’s right, the state is already bankrupt, 500b in debt and no plans to fund the shortfall.
Once again, the only option is banning strikes.
