As for the judge, I first heard he recused himself. Then the Bee reported he was disqualified under pressure from the Kings ownership group. I don’t know the details. We may never know.

It is a shame that these corporate welfare gigs for billionaire team owners are still working. It is just amazing. Or shocking.

I am pretty sure the ONLY reason it works is because the Mayors, Supervisors and clowncil members are ALL on the take in the form of campaign money from the team owners.
