Typical Rexie b.s. The statistician at UC makes more money than the burger flipper at McDonald’s and the clerk at WalMart, so, voila! UC workers are overpaid. Why don’t you try comparing the salaries of public and private employees who do the same work? You are afraid to, because you’ll find that the private sector statistician makes more than his or her public sector counterpart.

In other words, pension contributions increased not one iota, they just raised pay to cover it (and probably much more).
