I guess what is the problem with paying subminimum? If they are underpaid for their skills, then they should be able to find better employment elsewhere.

I’m usually a major critic of the “Dog, but this piece is absolutely on target. Congratulations to Assemblywoman Gonzalez and Assemblyman Hueso for introducing this resolution. And I actually agree completely with Rexie. It is snowing in the Mojave as I speak.

In October 2012, CalWatchdog.com first reported that five California-based Goodwill charities paid hundreds of employees less than minimum wage, while providing lucrative compensation packages to top executives.

I hate the way they comp these execs…Red Cross in San Diego is even worse. Shameful conduct.

Father Joe Carroll is whom they should try to emulate.
