A modest proposal on political scandals

Scandal tv logo[1]Here’s a modest proposal on political scandals. When a politician is indicted, then taxes are reduced equivalent to his proportional representation of the people.

The reasoning is this: He was corrupt, therefore he wasted tax dollars. So citizens shouldn’t have to pay any more for his corrupt actions.

Currently, three California state senators[2] are in hot water on corruption charges. There are 40 state senators. And 3 out of 40 = 7.5 percent.

Therefore, across-the-board, all taxes should be cut 7.5 percent for 2014:

It’s only fair. And a rebuke to a system that has coughed up so much corruption.
