By the time it is completed, auto technology will have advanced so far in mileage and emissions that the environmental impact of auto transportation will be considerably less. Tickets to ride this boondoggle project will be so expensive only the wealthy will be able to afford it. This is literally one big train wreck waiting to happen and that would definitely be it’s death knell. We need to spend big bucks on improving the current aging existing transportation infrastructure.
