The lack of proper highway routing killed it.

Build a road (toll road if you like) south of Alum Rock Park straight over to I-5 and watch what happens next. 34 miles +/- and you have a new community with industry and support services and housing to quell the high cost of living in the South Bay. Oh, and let’s build a reservoir for hydro-electric and recreation while we are out there eh?

Economies grow when those who want it to make decisions to assist the general public instead of bowing to political thiefs.
