Thank you for posting! This seems like a very straight forward case of free association and free speech! Ms. Friedrichs is asking that money not be taken out of her paycheck for political purposes that she opposes. I can understand collective bargaining etc….but in the USA, the land of the free and the home of the brave etc…, to have hard earned dollars forced out of your paycheck for things you politically do not stand for should be illegal. Seems like a no-brainer to me! I wish her and her attorney’s all the best!

attack the main plaintiff, the Christian Educators Association International (CEAI), who are more concerned about teaching creationism in schools (opposed by the unions) than they are about teachers right to work or freedom of speech.

When Meg Whitman was endorsing putting all public employees, except police and fire, on DC plans if she got elected, my fire dept. friend was perfectly ok with that.
