Robert Rizzo is literally one of a kind. He is certainly not the only public sector crook. Almost certainly not even the biggest government crook. Cozy contracts and kickbacks are everywhere, in both the public and private sectors.

I have known and worked with many honorable, intelligent, honest, hardworking public sector workers. I would (and have, many times) trusted my LIFE to them.

They have no more in common with Rizzo than my local bank teller or burger flipper has to Bernie Madoff or Charles Keating.

Your paranoia about public sector unions is laughable. They are not nearly as powerful as you give them credit for, and what power they DO exert has been a net benefit for ALL of California, including the “private” sector.

But you just keep blowing that horn. We need the laughs.

The paranoia you are expressing has to do with the truth about the RAGWUS being exposed S&MD, evil never seeks light.

As a USN vet I tip my hat to you, but we will never agree on the state stealing from the private sector to enrich a few feeding at the public trough, too much money is being taken to feather the beds of members of the corrupt RAGWUS cabal. If you remember and take seriously the oath you took when joining the USN, then you would not condone the crooked system the RAGWUS has created. 🙂

As it happens, I am a USN vet (65-69) who has been to several overseas ports. Most Americans have NO IDEA how good they have it.

Some are just plain paranoid.

Sure S&MD, you have a better perspective of the world than a USN Vet that has actually been to many overseas ports.

You fail to see our state PIC, you fail to see the number of citizens murdered by the state every year, you fail to understand that pointing guns at a sleeping citizen during no-knock raids is terrorism, shooting people in the back or the top of the head is terrorism.
