Taxpayers are stuck with every idiot idea liberals come up with. We pay for the UC system, Teachers Retirement, Public Employee Retirement, etc by investing in PROFITABLE businesses. Gasoline and Guns are the two most profitable… so liberals divest…

Ditto what Tony said! Our Exxon stock has been a phenomenal performer over the years! Please UC divest so we can buy possibly buy/reinvest in some cheaper shares! Maybe by the time my kids go off to college we can sell off some of our Exxon shares and be able afford not to settle for a UC school.

Perhaps the UC Regents should divest from fossil fuels immediately and invest in the green energy companies of this current administration? Lets see if we can heat our homes and have hot showers and cars that can go past 70 miles without a 7 hour charge time….or if even we can have adequate electricity for anything….with more solar and windmills.
You can build windmills with steel but you can’t make steel with windmills….so yes, lets divest from solar so that we all can go to Wal Mart and buy big screens made in Asia…..where more inefficient coal power plants will be necessary to fill Wal Mart with essentials we can no longer or are unable to produce on our own. Truly liberalism is a wide spread mental disorder devoid of any rationality.
