They understand that for every dollar of extra tax they pay, they get ten or more dollars in higher compensation. Some taxpayers they are!

Moreover, Prop 30 — heavily supported by teacher unions and which soaks the rich ($250K and up) — seldom costs a teacher an extra DIME in taxes (unless they married a successful ambulance chaser).
