If there is such an abundance of water in Northern California and we have had agreements in place with Northern California to supply water to the Central Valley farming for a long time, how did an obviously man made drought get created in the Central Valley and who is personally responsible for that? who shut off the water flow? There is the criminality and that should be addressed legally and fast. It is a simple matter, not complex at all!!

This the most insane situation I have ever heard of. The people behind this lawsuit have put the saving of 250 smelt up as a higher priority action than providing water to the Central Valley where 75% of the vegetables consumed by the citizens of this country, including citizens in Northern California, come from.
They are so self important that they are stupid and completely irresponsible. They shouldn't have a voice about anything in this state!
They would starve out people of their vegetable consumption,to save 250 little sardine-like fish that are going extinct! The two importances don't compare!
I'm tired of people like that causing wasted time and money to fight them just so common sense can prevail.
