The scary part of this hare-brained scheme is that the enviros would consider it to be ‘progressive’ and ‘pro-environment’.
Thousands of sprawling ground solar plants and power lines running all over from a decentralized power system, thousands of bird chopping eco-crucifixes despoiling our coastal views and every ridge line slicing and dicing our raptor populations.
And for all of this destruction to the landscape, none of it works more than 40% of the time because the sun doesn’t shine half the time and neither does the wind blow.
To the green movement, this is a very serious and desirable proposition.
I think I’d rather take my chances and be ruled by ISIS than these enviro crackpots.

Rob from the poor and give to the rich. Aren’t golden eagles being killed by the wind turbines, illegally? Oh, I forgot, it’s OK for these folks to kill the golden eagles.
