I worked on Jerry’s campaign in 92. He was for a flat tax and took no money from unions or more than a 100 dollars. He was blown out of the water by Bills well funded campaign. He had morals then. Now he is just a paid off politician.

VERY few Californians leave the Golden State for ideological reasons. Most leave for a better economic climate, including a good job coupled with lower costs. PARTICULARLY on housing.

Mock the CA departees all you want. They are NOT our welfare population. They are our young, our educated, our ambitious, our entrepreneurial — and our retirees taking their nest eggs to where they can find better lives.

They are perhaps not very many raging liberals among this refugee group — as liberals are still in denial about the California economy. Just as well, I suppose. Don’t want to infect the rest of the country.

We mulled pushing Oregon for doomers, but we found ex Californians are having a tough hacking it ,for their are few Mimi’s style ball cap and apron jobs, so they are voting for all kinds of rules and regs and fees on the newly arrived naive doomers enamored with trees, clean air and salmon jumping etc etc etc. etc. etc

Heck……. in Arkansas they cannot spell “regulation”.

CA’s per capita income is around $500 greater than Arkansas. What an achievement! We should be leading the pack in terms of wealth creation, but the dems, who’ve controlled the state legislature for more years than Castro’s been dictator, love poverty.

Not happy. We moved lots of bunker dwellers to Arkansas and Mississippi. Yeah it is hot, muggy, the mosquitos have state driver licenses, but the doomers love these conservative bastions.

By the way, we broke moving records this summer….shortage of trailers as usual, but we are working feverishly to get more trailer inventory.
