He always goes off script and embarrasses the White House. It sort of like watching Linkletter’s old show “Kids say the darndest things” lol. President Obola must cringe whenever Biden goes on another fundraising tour. lol. Just recently he had to apologize (even though it had some truth to it) to Turkey and UAE for funding, providing weapons and expanding the terrorist population in ISIL and ISIS. Then he angered the Asians by calling Asia “The Orient”. lol. Then he pissed off the Jews by calling lenders who were charging our servicemen excessive interest on their loans “shylocks”. So I welcome him to LA just for the entertainment value. Anyone who doesn’t keep up with the news and gets caught in traffic pileups caused either by presidential or VP visits or police funeral processions deserves it. And I hope we get debates between Hillary and Biden for the democratic nomination for POTUS. The comic relief should be off the charts. Tweedle dee and tweedle dum.
As far as minimum wage goes…..don’t you find it curious that there was no interest in raising the minimum wage for decades and all the sudden it’s become a burning political issue? Look, 4 or 5 jobs being created in California today are minimum wage service jobs. We’re becoming a society of WalMart greeters and pizza deliverers. The CATO Institute did a recent study calculating the equivalent income and wage of someone on welfare in all 50 states. In California the equivalent pre-taxed income was $37,160 and the equivalent hourly wage was $17.87. lol. That’s for sitting around all day, eating snicker bars and watching Queen Latifiah and Dr. Phil. lol. So what’s the use putting on a Burger King outfit and tossing fries 8 hours a day for $10/hr when you can collect welfare and make the equivlalent of $17.87/hr? lol. The gov is tired of the peasants figuring this out and jumping on the welfare train for a free ride. God almighty, there are 50 million US residents with EBT cards!!! LOL! That’s one of every six Americans! LOL!
But as I’ve said before….businesses will adapt. They’ll just break the labor laws and pay more people under the table. Especially illegals who can’t get deported in California! lol. And since neither the Feds nor the State of California enforces the labor laws – why worry???? 😀
One thing is for sure: All of this will eventually lead to total chaos. You will see it all fall apart piece by piece. You simply can’t run a society like this and survive.
