This is a serious issue. The waste of tax dollars in CA is a ripoff of the people. On top of that, there’s incompetent administration of at least some of the programs addressing the serious problem of mental health.

In reply to Desmond. You could engineer that scenario into a great word problem on an SAT test, Desmond. It is a more advanced form and modern version of "My dad's brother is my ______". A great way to test LAUSD students to evaluate whether they're prepared for life in modern day America.

The world is whacked out…listened to a friend of mine explain how her heterosexual friendship girlfriend’s mom borrowed money from her daughter(my friend’s girlfriend) to buy an expensive watch for my friend’s girlfriend’s boyfriend. Why?, because my friend’s girlfriend’s mom is banging my friend’s girlfriend’s boyfriend, of course.

Look, America is the ‘crazy capital’ of the world. If you question that look at per-capita psychotropic medication sale comparisons by nation. We’re off the charts. Same as our prisoner population. This nation breeds ‘crazy’ people with all our societal contradictions and divided mores. The gov wants you to believe it’s all genetic. That’s a cop-out. The human animal’s mental state is vulnerable to . For instance, the schools routinely imprint into our children’s vulnerable minds that it’s bad to cheat and lie. Yet cheating and lying are a routine practice in our highest elected offices and corporate boardrooms. Look at the POTUS if you question me. The unspoken truth is that these unvirtuous behaviors have been silently adopted as a normal behavior in practice but repulsive behavior in theory. So although we are encouraged to cheat and lie when we do it we feel guilty due to our earliest upbrinings. This produces internal mental conflict – the origins of a significant amount of neurosis that turns many people into basketcases in search of the dollar bill. Of course, the solution is NOT to stop teaching children about the value of virtuous behavior. The solution is to condemn those adults who lie and cheat. But when the POTUS can lie at will and nobody calls him out (especially the media) – what sort of example does that set for our society? That describes the problem.
No matter how much money you throw into mental health you will NEVER win the ‘war on crazy’ in America. You must reform the liars and cheaters who run our society to have a fighting chance. The tax revenue collectors know it’s a futile effort. So the taxman takes your money to allegely fignt the ‘war on crazy’, knowing much of it is going to get siphoned off and spent other causes more to the liking of the liars and the cheaters – like pension funds. lol.
Get used to ‘crazy’, folks. It ain’t going away anytime soon!!! 😀
