I am a liberal, believe in social progress, not handouts to construction companies and the union extortionists that work for them. Hope you are still around to ride the number 2 express, we can t wait to christen it. Thank God for Bean Burritos with Cheese. A good Gouda with some Lagunitas IPA is a real seat sticker. We will send the most hated generation on the final journey.

"However, the Supreme Court did not explain its silence regarding the project. By refusing to rule, the court did not say, “Good job, CHSRA. You are following the law.” There is no final stamp of approval."

The CASC basically said "We don't want to get involved. The water is too muddy. But you have our silent blessings. Move forward. You can carry the ball into the end zone from here. (wink wink, nod nod)."

The crazy train has made it over the hump with a push by the ruling class. Now it's nothing but clear tracks ahead. If they don't have the money - they'll just take more from you. You folks know how the system works by now.

I warned you that when the lower-court judge ruled against the crazy train that he'd get pushed aside. And that's exactly what happened.

The whole system is rigged from top to bottom. But keep voting and paying your taxes if it makes you feel better. Once the crazy train is complete in the Year 2040 your grandchildren can tape a ticket on your gravestones.

You can bet Jerry Brown wants this to go through as part of his legacy. And legislators are throwing money at a wasted project that cannot meet the terms of the Proposition (1A)
Hopefully, this will die a natural death in the courts, and the state can get back to using airplanes as their intercity transportation method.

The state needs money for roads, bridges and major infrastructure projects but it is being wasted in a court fight for another pet boondoggle. Is it any wonder people and companies are fleeing the sinking ship of Ca.
You can be sure that many lawyers are getting rich from the fight. The boondoggle was passed with RULES to help protect our money. Why can't anyone follow the RULES without all the money being wasted in court?
All of you are acting like a bunch of spoiled school kids that can't have their way.
And the state govt is supposed to support the law not subvert it.
