We must remember that we live in a Free Society. A Free Society forged by timeless brave men that pledged their lives and fortunes. In America, we do not pay homage to czars, kings, despots, and / or old bulls in Congress. We pledge or lives to individual freedom, property rights, contract rights, and rule of law. We don't need kings to look over us. We embrace a Republic, where the minority's voice is heard. Socialism (prop. 45) has no right to be in this beautiful state, much less our beautiful Country. If you value Prop. 45, move to Cuba and live in bliss.

In reply to <a href="https://calwatchdog.com/2014/10/30/democrats-divided-on-big-issues-in-ca/#comment-100628">Queeg</a>.

The insurance commissioner monitors car and home insurance premium rates to ensure the increases are justified and the consumers aren't getting ripped off by the insurance companies. So why not health insurance, that has been on a perpetual rate increase of 10% a year just because the fat health insurance companies say so? So Prop 45 is not damaging the health system. It is more protection for the consumer. I didn't know that you were a friend of the Wall Street crooks.

Will be enlightening how many people vote for more damage to our State health care system.....having some fool Commissar hack price fix rates and manipulate benefits is so Commie East Germany.

As far as raising malpractice award maximums against doctors......there will be fewer and fewer doctors seeing the chronically ill, treating high risk pregnancies, working in emergency rooms providing trauma care, accepting Medicaid, ACA and possibly Medicare due to paltry government payments for services.

This State has gone mad- Self inflicted insanity.
