Boy, I bet the cops and jail guards are fit to be tied this morning. Now it will be harder to put people in jail. But at the end of the day, it wouldn’t matter if the guard to prisoner ratio was 1:1. The cop unions would ensure that not one jail guard was laid off and had to go find a normal job with a normal wage. If they have to form a jaywalking taskforce to keep those cop employment numbers up – by God, they’ll do it. It’s no longer the consent of the governed. Today it’s consent of the ruling class! 🙂

As soon as they start imprisoning Wall Street banksters for individually laundering BILLIONS and collectively laundering TRILLIONS of narco dollars for the drug cartels south of the border I will consider imprisoning small timers selling dime bags of weed and cola on the street corners. But not a minute beforehand. Equality under the law is such a fracken joke in this country. Naturally the cops and jail guards oppose 47. It’s their livelihood. If you were a carpenter and there was a prop to outlaw hammers and nails – you’d squeal too. Everybody in America protects their own self-interest. To hell with the greater good. Which is precisely why this sick nation is dying. Selfishness and greed. And inequality under the law. Pathetic.
