Yeah Bill, that UC appointment made no sense whatsover. Not a Californian. No experience in higher education administration. And then she floats all the way to the top? 😀 It had to be a back room deal to keep her from writing a ‘tell-all’ book about her adventures as Obama’s HSD czar. I bet if we knew the REST OF THE STORY – the hair on the backs of our necks would stand straight up for a whole week. I wonder who she brought on board as her administrative assistant? Whoever it is I bet she’s a cutie. 🙂

What the heck happened to my post on journalism as a college major and subsequent job prospects for today’s journalism grad?? It was totally accurate. Damn, people are sure sensitive these days.

Sister Sledge was awarded this plum position for all of her outstanding service in ramping up the national police and surveillance state. Way to go, Sistah! Of course, the fact that she didn’t live in California, had absolutely no ties to the Golden State OR the UC system, were totally irrelevant. Love him or hate him, Jerry Brown is no carpetbagger. He is in fact a real californian. Send that Bull D**e back to Arizona….

See, instead of just saying point-blank “No more tuition increases. Higher education is expensive enough as it is for the kids. If you can’t meet your bottom line, do away with the pensions and give across the board 401 K’s. Make do with what you have and kindly shut-up. And if you don’t like it – QUIT. We could easily find your replacement” they want to put the higher cost burden on the out-of-staters. Naturally, illegal aliens pay state resident rates, even though they broke in from other countries!!! How funny is that? What a tangled web the California kleptocrats weave!

See, the reason the state legislators got involved is because they don’t want huge statewide student protests (which already commenced over this). So if they punish just the out-of-state students the protests would be minimized. But this is the problem they create. The out-of-staters will avoid California universities and the revenue will PLUMMET!!! Market forces (which the liberals just hate) will take over!!! The rich Chinese will send their kids to Oregon and Arizona and Texas and the Carolinas instead of California!!! UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES WILL REAR IT’S UGLY HEAD ONCE AGAIN!!! They whatcha goina do, bad boy, bad boy???? 😀
