I hate those single use bags, blowing around everywhere. Very trashy and very wasteful. Most of the food you buy is already wrapped in something else (like plastic) so I don’t see the danger from cross contamination. The things that aren’t, like bulk vegetables, are hopefully going to be peeled, rinsed or cooked before eating.

Huntington Beach put in a plastic bag ban in 2013, so I have boycotted ALL purchases in Huntington Beach since then, and we fired the culprits in the last election.

The ban is unsafe and a danger to the health of all who don’t wash their bags after EVERY use to prevent cross-food contamination! And this law passed during a drought!! Democrats and their religious enviro-cult have ruined life for all Californian’s!! And yes I have already signed the petition!!!
