The economy must have healthy growth in the private sectors to sustain that. There is a disconnect with California’s ranking as the worst place to do business.
Of course, the growth in the tech sector continues. It will be interesting to watch this play out. I expect higher taxes, and will continue to live cheap, while many love to be on credit, nice cars, motorcycles, boats, bond measures, New athletic facilities…schools that Don t educate, big tv’s to watch alleged student athletes run into other, Deleon’s aunt with her hands out…The most hated generation leaves a sorry legacy.

There are hundreds of billions of dollars in unfunded pension funds out there. If Kali were a private company they would be in court for lying about their books. Jerry Brown and the dems are setting up an epic societal war in the not so far future. Just look at LA. Ten years ago only 3% of their budget was pension. Now it is 18%. Soon it will be well over 25%. The increase in pensions comes from cuts in infrastructure, schools, medical care, ect.
