This is going to be a knife fight. Too many people have been waiting for too long for a us senate seat to open up. Willie Browns ex, Kamela, will run head long into Villaraigosa. The Hispanics in Kalifornia are going to scream if the powers that be try to steer the nomination to anyone else. The Hispanic influx into Kali has made the state completely blue and Bill and Hillary will be well advised to keep out of this knife fight unless they promote an Hispanic.
In the mean time, pull up a chair and watch the show. This could make pro wrestling look tame.

While everyone jockeys for position in California's U.S. Senate and soon-to-be Governor's race, it's always good to gain some perspective on who will lead this state with new ideas on job creation, tax reform (reduction?), immigration reform and education. If you're Democrat, for now, you are not interested in presenting "new ideas." In fact, you probably don't have any fresh ideas. Instead, you must look at raising buckets of money and that means cozying up with unions to garner their votes and $$$...unless you're Steyer. Hillary can certainly help with this. On the other hand, Republicans are restructuring their party post-2012/2014 election mishaps. Therefore, they can present a new direction with new ideas and I hope they get their act together and do as much.
