Why would any self-respecting illegal immigrant, who has already blown off several thousand pages of the penal code, want to ‘comply’ when they can simply march into the ER and demand full treatment absolutely free? Why shouldn’t they?The ‘subsidies’ are BS, and are paid untimely, relative to premiums, and come out of one’s refund, and have to be paid back if one’s income goes up, yada yada. WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS (seriously) is a single payer (gubmint) catastrophic coverage pan for all. Quit playing global empire (we’re not very good at it anyway), quit the dragnet surveillance, take the savings and give people medical care when they need it the most.
