I’m a UC graduate and retiree (I was not an administrative poobah). Dave Roberts lays out a boggling amount of data. Bottom line is they have overpaid top administrators. I noticed that UC spokesman addressed only what UC was doing to reduce health benefit and retirement costs, without one word about the gross (not as in the opposite of net) pay of administrators. Roberts puts it all out there for us to get riled up about.
About the high number of foreign and other out of state students: I think it’s good for California students to be associated with them, BUT, not when eligible California students are turned away. I think some reasonable GPA could be required.
UC should clean up its act in order for taxpayers to continue pay a significant part of the tab

UH OH-More trouble for Frau Napolitano (nom de guerre Sistah Sledge). Barbara Boxer and Hillary C. PROMISED her this job would be a cruise control, easy peasy, high-paid sinecure snoozer, as recompense for turning this country into a virtual concentration camp. NOW she finds out it’s a freaking hornet’s nest, less fun than getting tazed by the TSA VIPR team on your way home from work…..
