The shippers’ lesson to from Asia to the U.S. is this: Whenever possible, ship via the Panama Canal and use a southeastern port.

Late last Sunday afternoon I took a hike in the Fullerton Hills. There’s a few spots where you get nice 360 views.

The waters off Long Beach looked like Normandy. It’s shocking how many ships are at anchor out there.
