Our country is awesome, but the system of public unions using tax payers dollars to elect their politicians is quickly turning many states in our country into totalitarian cabals where the tax paying citizen receives little in return, with the exception of escalating taxes to fund ever growing pensions and benefits for the RAGWUS feeders. 🙂

Ntheoc, when you post words like “I guess” the whole picture of your GED education becomes clear. It is no wonder you have no ability to see the aggregate of what the RAGWUS is doing to the economy. One point I agree with you on is the “politicians….make up stuff as they see fit.” Which makes me wonder how you reach the conclusion our system is just!
Every bureaucracy does as they please in this nation without accountability, the very reason every bureaucracy stinks and the pay, benefits, and pensions for these RAGWUS feeders are so outrageous. 🙂

I’ll have to disagree with your redneck view of our justice system Mr. R for the fact that no citizen without inside connections can get justice in this state. Ashley MacDonald didn’t receive justice, nor did Kelly Thomas, nor did Doug Zerby, along with over 10,000 Americans that have been murdered by state officials since 9/11. The truth is that more Americans have been murdered by U.S. police than we have lost in both wars in the last 15 years.
The “bill” we are stuck with is nothing compared to the real damage an out of control PIC has created by destroying the ability of over 40 million Americans from moving forward. If you were “reasonable” you would have the ability to understand that a nation our size should not have the number of prisoners we incarcerate. Perhaps you just don’t want to know. 🙂

Seems to me that lots of politicians, state and fed, decide they are above the law, and make up stuff as they see fit.

Seems to me, the idiot in the Whitehouse just released 22 coke and meth mfgs and dealers back into society with a stroke of the pen. These animals destroy our society by making this crap, and should not be out early “for good behavior.”

Don’t even get me started on the guy with 4 DUI’s and they still let him drive – UNTIL he kills 3 kids in a crosswalk.
Enforce the laws we have………….

Murderers commit a crime, that yielded a Death Penalty by their peers.
A “Court Appointed” attorney is assigned, AT taxpayer expense to represent that person or persons in a trial.
The crime that yielded the decision was the accused, and the convicted. We have the BEST process for fairness in the world, as rich or poor ARE given legal representation.

If the person convicted happens to not have the financial means to hire the best representation, too bad.
They should have thought about that before they committed the act.
Yet, you Mr. Donkey, and me Mr. Reasonable are stuck with the bill, along with the rest of California’s population.
I am tired of the politics that is wasting valuable resources when it is sorely needed elsewhere……. 🙁

People in this country have a choice and some make bad ones in life so yes we do lock up our criminals. I mean you love to compare our justice system to the Middle East but we do not condone the raping of women and explotation of children, or child labor sweatshops, or many other things that are legal in those countries. So I guess we should have more prisoners than others….
