It will continue to stumble along like a borracho, and thanks to the entertainment industry it will always have pockets of wealth and trendiness…and a few parts are even better than they were 30 years ago – the Staples district of Downtown, Hollywood, hipster Silver Lake.

But the vast majority of the place is an unrelenting, Brazilian-style crap hole that is getting worse by the day.
