Exploitation of slave labor IS THE WHOLE POINT OF GLOBALISM. Wake up! You folks are so damned naive! You think Apple Corp. really gives a damn if its Iphones are assembled by slaves at Foxcon lants in China? American corporations view slave labor as their BIRTHRIGHT, an attitude inherited from the oh-so-loving-and-caring Brits. Heaven forbid Apple sets up a factory in say Merced or Santa Ana, and employs a few thousand californians assembling their stuff. FUGEDABOUTIT! And hey-you rugged republican: do you owe money on your house or pay rent? Got debt? Guess what: YOU ARE A SLAVE! Can you quit you job right now and support yourself? NO? Guess what: you ARE a slave! In reply to Spurwing Plover. Perhaps they should define "slave labor". I've heard some workers defined as slaves because they don't make as much as American workers and don't get benefits. I wonder if the workers we're supposedly protecting consider themselves slave labor?
