What is conveniently missing from this article is the obscene salaries being paid to the water district employee’s; especially the management. For example, the Contra Costa Water District GM is paid $398K per year (Total Comp). He has to assistant GM’s earning $352K & 309K. Rates are going up to replace lost revenue. Revenue that is need to continue to play grossly inflated salaries and this is happening all over the state. Naturally, these “dedicated (wink wink) public employee’s” are under the mental delusion that they would command the same or even high salaries in the private sector. My friends you are being totally fleeced by what can be best described as legal organized extortion.

And BTW: Anybody seen anything of the $2.5 billion portion of the $ 7.5 billion water bond supposedly dedicated for more water storage?
The bond was sold to the voters primarily on the promise of more storage projects like the already studied Temperance Flat and Sites reservoir projects. No doubt that was the primary reason voters passed it at all.
But as usual, Moonbeam and his Demo-lackeys lied completely and have no intent on building anything at all.
‘Dam’ is a four letter word to these retro- hippie scumbags.
Remember that folks, the next time these lying weasels put any type of revenue bond on the ballot.

This statement is pure nonsense and has no scientific basis. The American Southwest has been subject to periodic, prolonged drought since the end of the last ice age. There is no credible scientific evidence proving that so called climate change has caused our current drought or has lead to more “extreme” climate fluctuations.

Sadly, it’s just too easy to scare the bejesus out of government education victims by blathering about the climate change boogie man. Pathetic but entirely predictable.
