This is what the Democratic party was all about when I was a hardcore Dem, well over 25 years ago. Once the Dems became an owned and operated subsidiary of the Public Unions, and threw the poor and middle class under the bus, I jumped ship to Independent.

Glazer should switch form Dem to Independent.

I think that it is exciting that Steve Glazer is trying to create a middle. And that Catherine Baker is working with him. Why have so many people registered as Decline-to-State or No-Party-Preference voters? Because the political parties are not serving us well. The Republican Party, under the leadership of Jim Brulte, is working hard to be a more centrist, traditional party of less government and more individual responsibility, without the divisive issues. If the Democrat Party would do the same, we’d make good progress in Sacramento in solving complex, often intractable problems. And as California often does — become a role model for the nation.
