I was a hardcore Democrat my entire life, up until about 1993, when they sold out to public unions…many people are like me, some from Dem, some Repug.

I don’t put much time or money into CANDIDATE races — especially partisan races. Republicans with their perceived anti-minority image will never hold sway in California.

But on ISSUES, the general populace may well find themselves in agreement with the GOP — especially on taxes and regulation. I put my time and effort into these ballot issues. It’s the only effective way to participate in CA state politics. And often local politics as well.
