					<description><![CDATA[Since natural gas is odorless, state law requires a mercaptan liquid added into natural gas to help locate leaks via an “odor”.  Folks are not smelling natural gas, they’re smelling the mercaptan which smells like a skunk. Natural gas supplies much of our residential and commercial needs to support the lifestyles that we have become accustomed.  Before we “shut it down”, everyone needs to know what alternative energy source will replace natural gas and accept the unintended consequences on our economy and lifestyle changes that would be necessitated.]]></description>
