Scabs who work for half the pay and benefits (actually less) than public sector providers (a.k.a. working for free market wages)?

Careful. Next thing you know, some crazy politician will honor the men and women in some volunteer fire department (probably volunteers who are secretly on the payroll of the Koch brothers).

BTW, ARE there are any remaining CA volunteer fire departments?
