There are many things wrong with the State’s foster-care laws and oversight, and over-medication is one of them.

Another issue that really rankles me is how many foster-parents are really in it for the money. There should be higher-standards for qualifying as foster-parents. And, it should be against the law for foster parents to kick foster-children out of the house on their 18th-birthday with no place to go. If the child has been causing trouble they should be contacting the authorities and asking for intervention.
