I am interested in any information concerning the ramp up to begin the process of deciding who is paroled and how. Regulation and Policy Management Branch (RPMB) deals with regulations (Department Rules) related to Adult Institutions, Programs and Parole Regulations and is responsible to ensure that the rules proposed for implementation by the CDCR that have a general application to State adult inmate and parole operations and programs meet the Rulemaking Process requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Anyone with the ability to access the thought process behind this that applies to Proposition 57s' passage that replys here will have my thanks. I am writing a comprehensive article for a newsletter, The Advocate and hope to publish in January 2017

The felons are given the opportunity to aid in their rehabilitation. They can start by working on their education. My son has been in prison for 16 yrs. In that time, he has got his GED, taken several college classes and got a degree in theology. He's still working on his rehabilitation. I think that he deserves the opportunity to be released a couple of years early
