The State of CA is run by the Unions. Politicians/owned by the unions intentionally underfund K-12 Public education so that they can constantly cry that they need money for “the kids””. Then they use excess tax revenue to start new programs and entitlements that re-distribute wealth and promote the political agenda of the Unions. Right now the State is intentionally underfunding wealthy suburban school districts by setting the “Base” Funding Grant $2,500 per pupil what is needs to be and then engaging in a racketeering scheme to funnel one time grant money forcing districts to spend $1,446 per teacher on Professional development while students go without art- music and science that align with CA minimum content standards and curriculum frameworks. CA public education system isn’t about educating students – it is about adult jobs and wealth re-distribution. DIsgusting.

I challenge anyone to make a decision related to an employee, then have the employee file a grievance with the state and see how you come out, even if you are right.

Point blank I was asked by a mediator why we were even in business in this state? You will never win a case at the Dept of Labor.
