At present, about 25%-30% of the San Diego Charger fans AND skybox renters are from the LA region.  With the Rams settling in there, it&#039;s likely that many will switch allegiance if the Chargers are still in SD.

More important, the LA region holds about 20 million people. Isolated San Diego County has about 3.2 million people.  And few large corporation HQ&#039;s.

The Charger team owners would be nuts to stay in &quot;America&#039;s Finest City.&quot;  Particularly so given the declining popularity of the NFL in general, and the Chargers in San Diego in particular.]]></description>
