I remember my father telling me, at the top of his voice as was his custom, “Don’t let them brainwash you!” As I wasn’t sure exactly what he was referring to, I developed a habit if questioning EVERYTHING that didn’t make sense to me.

Regarding Trump’s proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border: As it happens, more than 50% of the existing borders from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean already has a wall. Trump’s proposal, then, is to fill in the gaps and make what we have already more secure. To do so is not racist, or hateful, or against the principles of American Liberty.

Regarding Sanctuary Cities: If California fights Trump’s policy, we will soon find out what life would be like were our fair State secede from the Union.

Regarding the Legislature: The longer they are not in session, the better I like it. I wish we would go back to the days when they met only for six months every two years.
