Yeah, can you believe it? I got a notice with my PG&E bill that this green monopoly wants a rate increase to build charging stations for electric cars.
So I guess hard pressed middle class and elderly homeowners should foot the bill for some rich, greenhead urban elites who can afford to buy 100K Teslas. To add insult to injury, these folks already pay no road taxes at all.
Makes you wonder when ratepayers who pay nearly the highest electricity rates will finally say: "Enough."
You can complain to the CPUC all you want about the rate increases, (as I have numerous times) but they're bought and sold whores who rubber stamp every PG& E increase automatically. It doesn't help that the CPUC is staffed with crazed Brown eco-nut appointees who could care less about the suffering middle class as long as the utility portrays the increase as being 'for the environment".
I swear you could take a bucket of cow crap and paint it green, say its environmentally friendly and they'd chow down.

The cost of this boondoggle should be born by the beneficiaries, 12,000 Electric Cars, $1 Billion Dollars to setup Charging Stations.

Just ADD an $83,000 Surcharge to the price of the Car for Public Charging Stations. Shouldn't they pay their fair share??
