P.S.:

I don't recall a Commissar telling me anything in first grade. I did have a teacher, though, and she did not tell me to bring a polished apple to her every week. She taught me to read and write.

Comrade Fasty

Just because that Commissar in your first grade told you to bring a polished apple to her weekly doesn't fast forward to any acceptance of pap/circumstances from slimy attornies, corporate food barons, Plutocrats, assorted and faux educated Cal State globalists.

Your inside with the loop that's tightening around your comfy middle class neck!

Reboot......it's late!

Queeg, You crack me up! I agree with you, too. But, what can we do unless we want to be outside the loop?

The upside is that in a Consumer Society like ours, consumers actually have the last word on what goes on in the marketplace.

I agree with you.

I think there should be limits on how much and what kind of personal information companies may use without our consent. Credit card companies allow their customers to opt out.

I would prefer that the internet companies voluntarily chose to do the right thing, but I know there will always be at least one who won't and they will have an unfair advantage over their competitors. So, I think a law is necessary.

Based on Greenhut's evaluation, I am not sure this is the right proposal. But, I'm glad the matter is getting the attention of our representatives.

Good work, Steve!

I support this measure, the internet is gradually becoming unusable because of the constant invasion of privacy, and the constant bombardment of advertising. The advertisers and internet companies have just gone too far and are bringing this on themselves.
