When pressed on the issue lightly by the LA Times Emily Reyes, the Cal AG response was the lie that the office does not confirm or deny investigations. That is a great way to stay non-transparent and good enough for the Times . but it is a lie. Recently Becerra’s office confirmed investigation into the “LA{PD Latino Cal-Gang affiliation scandal, yet still no follow up on the earlier LAPD Crime vigilante buster status. THe LAPD is behind this cover-up as any real investigation will show widespread use of Anti-homeless hate crime from all 12 of the LAPD Crimebuster Facebook groups across LA.
