I think most politicians, when someone else gets caught, say something like "Boy, thank goodness they haven't caught me yet!

In reply to Terry. Oddly enough, we the people did away with our CA legislators' pensions via the initiative process. But he might well be appointed to some useless CA state commission (there are HUNDREDS), perhaps "earning" a six figure income for MAYBE six weeks work.

Misleading headline. According to this article, he is NOT resigning from the legislature. Just not running in 2018 for his office (at least that’s what he says now).

He resigned only from his Assembly Whip position. BFD. Still gets pay and perks until 2019.
