This article overlooks one aspect of the Honda car price increases for 2023. I’ve owned two Honda XL‘s. Great cars and I sought to buy another, either 2022 or 2023 model. Although these are listed with very modest increases over the prior year, you can’t buy them! My dealer has had two allocations in the second half of 2022 and doesn’t think he’ll get any of his base trim in 2023. I am certainly not going to pay more than $3000 for larger tires and a fin on the trunk!

A reconciled bill will pass next week and it will be epic in its capacity to reform at many levels. OK, there won't be absolute tax cuts for 100% of taxpayers, but those in Congress who vote "no" will get an earful from their constituents and they won't see an attempt to reform taxes for another three or four decades. Dems have offered no legitimate input and could only be seen sitting in the peanut gallery flipping off their Repub colleagues.

The key is NOT what the Dems want. The problem is weak REPUBLICANS that may yet vote against the bill. These adjustments are meant to win the RINO votes -- NOT the Dems.

Good article, but one SIGNIFICANT error. The article says that the AVERAGE property tax paid (and deducted) in California is $18,000. It's under $5,000. Probably under $4,000 (depending on source).

I suspect you confused MORTGAGE interest deduction with property taxes.
