Sadly, I am pessimistic about fairness and justice in USA.No, it is not fair or just.This is an excellent article that gives a really good run-down of this case and trial. It appears the US government is determined to find Dr.Dhafir guilty, and it does not matter that he is innocent. It seem that they just want to prove that their “war on terror” is working, and are determined to keep him in jail. Why? Is to justify the money spent on this so called “war on terror”, and/or save their political careers? Or what? Also, is it fair that Dr. Dhafir has had to with each appeal go back to the very same judge who sentence him in the first place? No this is not justice!HiI am very pleased to read your article.
