Maybe it's time to split up all of these IOU's into smaller and geographically defined electric cooperatives with board members elected by their member/customers.

California's extreme leftist policies and its CPUC have created the very worst performing electric utilities and the highest priced power in the United States.

The final straw was the recent decision forcing all new homes after 2020 to support $20k+ solar power systems when state law and CPUC regs already mandates IOU's have sufficient generation to supply all customers in their monopoly territories.

If you want an industry to be totally scfrewed up, let California regulate it!
