Now the job is feed them meals, babysit for their working parents, provide psychological counseling, spy on their parents, indoctrinate them in leftist and green radical environmentalism and occasionally actually educate them- albeit poorly.
Now we have to provide housing for their so-called educators.
That folks is what we call ‘mission creep’ writ large.
