California taxpayers should demand a federal investigation into the discriminatory admissions policies that are in violation of State and Federal law and the University of California Master Plan mandate. This is a taxpayer funded institution. Admission policies deny 100,600 qualified Ca resident students who are in the top 12.5% of the State the UC can sell those seats to out-of-state and international students. Top CA students are then forced to spend an additional $160,000 in tuition at out of state and private colleges and universities. The auditor and LAO confirmed that she denies 10,600 qualified students per year a seat while guaranteeing international students a campus of their choice and lets them in with lower GPA’s and test scores. That is $1.7 billion in new expenditures for California taxpayers. She should be in jail for her discriminatory admission policies.
