You read it here first, folks. In several blogs over the past few months, I predicted that the boycott of Arizona for its immigration law, SB 1070, would be a massive failure. The YouTube at the end of this blog has a report showing the Arizona economy is doing great (unlike depressed, Arnoldized Kalifornia), and tourism actually is up.

Here’s what I wrote:

April 27:

San Francisco’s announced boycott of Arizona is ridiculous. They’re both part of the United States, so trade among the states, and cities, is regulated by the federal government.

May 3:

Boycott, schmoycott (why there isn’t going to be any boycott of Arizona).

May 12:

L.A. just voted to end “5 contracts  with Arizona-based companies that are worth a combined total of $7.7 million.”

It’ll make headlines, but it’s worthless.

Arizona’s GDP is about $200 billion. So, $7.7 million comes out to .00385 percent.

I’m sure the Zonies are workin’ in shifts shaking in their flip-flops over that one.

May 19:

I’ve been saying all along that California threats to boycott Arizona over the Zonies’ immigration law are a massive joke. Now I’m really cracking up.

Now Arizona is threatening to cut off the electricity they send to California….

The Zonies should shut off L.A.’s power for 10 minutes just for fun.
